Rhythmic Gymnastics

Rhythmic Gymnastics is a sport that provides a perfect posture, (which is very important in this age), grace and takes out that good memory “brainy-person” that we all have inside for the performance. This type of gymnastics combines ballet and apparatus manipulation that will give you an incredible sense of balance and flexibility in life. But no just you; your friends, your mates, your family and even your neighbor will leave their sofas to go and see your performance with just two or three classes!!

What do you need to do?

Judges will look at the shapes and movements of your body or apparatus. The amplitude, direction and speed are essential. Anyway, the judges will give you more points. They will look for leaps, balance, your flexibility and your artistic effect. So you know, it’s all about practice, practice and more practice!!









Object/Aim of the sport

On the other hand, rhythmic gymnastics is a women’s sport. It can be practiced individually or in groups of 5. (Gymnastics even practices your group work!) If that’s the case and there are multiple gymnasts, there must be at least two apparatuses through the group. Whereas if it is played individually, there must be at least one apparatus in constant movement, which is quite awesome to see, trust me. Obviously, it is performed on the floor and the maximum length of the routine is from 1.5 to 2.5 minutes. As you see gymnastics will also provide you super speed; so say goodbye to the detentions for arriving late at school!
